Harry Styles was almost cast in the 2024 remake of the silent horror classic Nosferatu, but had to back out due to scheduling issues. He was set to play Thomas Hutter, opposite Anya Taylor-Joy who was in talks to play Ellen Hutter. The role eventually went to Nicholas Hoult and Lily-Rose Depp, respectively. Despite missing out on Nosferatu, Harry pursued darker, more serious roles in films like Don't Worry Darling and My Policeman.
